What was life like as a knight

Life as a knight was tough they had to guard towers, castles, and land.All that and had to fight battles
when war came around.
Most knights gaurded no land others were lucky to get to gaurd land then others gaurd towers and then real good knights gaurded the kings castle.

his land and a town.

Some knights served under other knights that were higher ranked than themselves.
These knights were called vasse knights.
Knights couldn't be peasents and others are people from noble families.

These knights were counted on to keep the city they protected safe.
If they didn't then they could face serious consequences.
So these people had to be very ready for anything to happen.
When they were attacked they were very quick and tried to save the town.

What did people have to do to be a knight

There were many things that people had to do to become a knight.
They first would have to come from a noble family to be a knight and only boys were allowed.
They had to become a page in a castle, so basiclly learn how to ride a horse and learn how to fight with
the weapons that knights used.

Then they need to become a spuire to look after a knight or watch them and learn more about being a knight.
If they showed bravery through it all and did the best and sucseeded then they became knights.
There's a lot of training that these people go through.
They have to learn how to fight and ride animals and have to learn from a knight.

What kind of armor did knghts wear

The knights wore metal helmets some had a weapon like the morning star.
They also wore a shirt like thing made of little metal chain rings.
They also had a sheild with a coat of arms showing where they came from.

They also wore metal chest pads that protected them from knives but not arrows and swords.
Another thing that they wore were arm and leg braces they are sheild protecters that sheild the knights legs
and arms.
They also wore hand and feet braces that strape together to keep them on the knights body.
They wore a small inside suit as well so no skin was showing with their armor on to they were protected
from fires.
Basiclly they wore a tone of armor to protect them from harm.

What was the knights most used weapon

The most likly used weapon was a sword but there were others involved.
One weapon the knghts used was a bow and arow for its safer range and easy to hit targets.
Another weapon manly used was a weapon called a morning star, all it is is a ball with spikes held together by a chain and a small piece of wood.

 They also used axes and long poles to take out other enemies on horses.

 Since knights rode horses they mostly used all these weapons and all were very affective.

 But the morning star was used the most for its easy movement and it being lighter than a sword.

The morning star was their most vicious weapon because of its spikes and wiping chain holding it.
